Above-average municipal course. Greens are in great shape. Fun course. Will not beat you up, but can be a challenge. Fun course to walk although the front nine is quite hilly. The back nine is not quite as hilly and was laid out by Dugan Aycock, now deceased, (he died at 92) the long-time pro at Lexington and a PGA member for68 years and was named National Professional of the Year in 1957. Was President of Carolinas PGA for 18 years and National PGA vice president. Died in 2001.
